Juana "Jennie" Gonzales Morales, resident of La Puente, California for 70 years passed away on December 10, 2025.

Jennie was born in February 1935, to Alberto and Maria Gonzales. She was raised in her hometown of Lompoc, California. Jennie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt. She married her hometown sweetheart Ysidro Morales in 1952. In 1955 they settled in La Puente, California and raised their 6 children on Homeward Street. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, gardening and volunteering. She worked for Bodger Seeds in Lompoc and Hacienda La Puente Unified School District. She was one of the founding members of the Guadalupanas at St. Louis of France Catholic Church in La Puente. Her biggest joy came from spending time with family, friends, and enjoying conversations and laughter.

Jennie is survived by her children, Albertina Morales SSS, Guadalupe (Joe) Diaz, Fernando (Laura) Morales, Miguel Morales, Barbara (Edward) Gonzales, Leticia Morales; 18 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Ysidro, parents, 3 brothers and 3 sisters and grandson Miguel Ysidro Morales.

Jennie's wish was to be laid to rest in her hometown of Lompoc. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. In honor of her, please take time to make a phone call, share a meal or enjoy a craft with family and friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, December 18th at La Purisima Church in Lompoc, California at 12:30 pm. Arrangements are being handled by Starbuck-Lind Mortuary, Lompoc.
