Judith “Judy” Allain Lawlor, 77, of the Detroit area, passed away on October 13, 2026. She was born on February 7, 1949, in Chicago, Illinois.

Judy was raised in Lompoc, California, a place that always remained close to her heart. She spent most of her adult life in the Detroit area and also lived in Albuquerque, a city she truly loved. She made lasting friendships wherever she went.

Judy was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and a friend to many. Nothing brought her more joy than her grandchildren, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

She is survived by her husband, Marty Lawlor; her daughter, Carrie Brunner (Tim); her son, Kevin Ostrowski (Laura Altmayer); her grandchildren, Riley, Andrew, Thomas and Lucas; and her brother, John Heiden (Jeri). She was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia and Robert Heiden, and her brother, Bill Heiden.

At Judy’s request, there will be no funeral services. She will be laid to rest with her family in Lompoc, California.
