Julia Ann ("Lillian") Reem, 89, of Lompoc California passed away on August 18,2010.

Born August 10, 1921 in Plymouth, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Ignatius and Anna (Kovaleski) Simanovich. She attended Plymouth High School.

She was a loving wife of 42 years to her husband Walter Moore Reem who preceded her in death in
August 1986. Also preceding her in death were sister(s) Eleanor Grisco , and step-siblings Albin (Mary ) Shumbris, and Edmund (Nellie) Shumbris and Ethel (Herbert) Craft.

Lil was a wonderful wife, sister, aunt and friend. She was a homemaker who enjoyed many activities during her life including Senior Citizen Center activities, cooking, needlework, gardening, bingo, traveling, fishing, and hunting with her husband. She lived for several years in Chula Vista while her husband served in the U.S. Navy before eventually residing in Lompoc.

She is survived by her brother Joseph ( Catherine) Simanovich, Mesa, Arizona, several nieces and nephews, and many loving friends.

The family would especially like to thank Lil's friends Ron and Lori Allison for all their support.

At her request, there will be no services. Arrangements are made through Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.

We all loved Aunt Lil. She was a great lady and will be sadly missed for her warm hospitality, kindness, and generosity toward everyone who was fortunate enough to know her.
