Lloyd Sanchez, A.K.A. Junior Contreras, 26 of Lompoc left us to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 21, 2011. He was a very outgoing person with a personality nobody could compare. He loved his family and friends very much and would give the shirt off his back, just not his last cigarette.

Junior enjoyed drawing, music and rapping. There was never a dull moment when he was around. The people who knew him knew he was always the life of the party, with always something to say.

Junior was proud to become a father to his pride and joy, Lili. He always excelled in everything he did. He will be missed dearly but never forgotten.

He leaves behind his mother Christina Munoz, father Michael Contreras, stepmother Leticia Contreras, sisters Sophia Contreras, Jessica Contreras and Monica Contreras, stepsister Venezia Ranney, brothers Michael Contreras, II and Jacob Contreras, his daughter Liliana Sanchez, his companion Giselle Naranjo, two nieces Alexis Gonzales and Zoe Galarza, three nephews Angel Contreras, Michael Contreras, III and Gabriel Terrones, all of Lompoc, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

A viewing will be held at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary on Monday, May 30, 2011 from 11am to 1pm. The memorial service will be Tuesday, May 31, at 10 am at Saint Mary's Episcopal Church followed by interment in the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery
