Jutta "Judy" Karin Allen, 73, died at Vandenburg Village, California at her daughter's home on Friday, February 14, 2014 after a brief illness with cancer.

She was born May 11, 1940 in Traben-Trabach, Germany, to Sieglinde and Otto Willi Kurt Schon. Jutta married Charles O. Allen were married December 18, 1963 at the Base Chapel at Hahn Air Force Base in Germany and they were married for nearly 44 years before Charles' death in 2007.

Jutta proudly became an U.S. citizen in 1973.

She lived in Phoenix, Arizona in her later years and worked for the Department of Defense and later, the Arizona Army National Guard until her retirement. For her excellent work, she received The Arizona Distinguished Service Medal and many other awards.

Judy was a member of the church of Christ and loved serving the Lord and will be remembered for her beautiful Alto voice.

Her family found inspiration in her personal milestone of sky diving shortly after her 70th birthday, her direct and sweet demeanor and her giving spirit.

Survivors include daughter Rebecca Casey (nee Allen) and son in law Martin Casey of Lompoc, CA, her son Randy Allen and daughter in law Joanna Allen (nee Switzer) of Canton, Ohio, grandchildren Tristan and Gemma Casey, and sisters Brigitte Velten and Annette Ford. Jutta was preceded in death by her husband Charles Allen, her mother Sieglinde Schon and father Otto Wille Schon.

Services will be held at 11am, Saturday, February 22nd at the West Olive Church of Christ in Peoria AZ. Memorial contributions are welcome at Pregnancy Support Center, 601 Ocean Avenue, Ste. 6, Lompoc, CA 93436.
