Kathleen Landry Obituary
Kathleen Landry passed away on October 23, 2017in Lompoc, where she lived since 1964. She was born in Wynnewood, Oklahoma March 6, 1932 to Logan B. and Troymae Thomas. She was the 6th of 7 children.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her siblings and her loving husband of 67 years, Marc, who was the love of her life and soul mate.
Kathleen was an accomplished LVN nurse working for Dr.'s Holloway, Weinstock and Sinkaset. She was an exceptional seamstress, baker, knitter, crocheter. She always kept her hands busy on one project or another, either with quilts, afghan's or in her garden. She was very proud to have made the pastoral garments, ceremonial robes, altar boy smocks and numerous other projects for Father Vega at the La Purisima Catholic Church.
She lived her last year, happily at the Meridian of Lompoc where the staff and caregivers became part of her extended family. She was a loving wife, mother, grand-mother, great-grandmother. Though our hearts ache, we know you are with you sailor, in his dress whites dancing that first dance once again.
Visitation is 5-7 Monday October 30, 2017 and Service is Tuesday October 31, 2017 at 10:00 am. Both will be held at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary, 123 North "A" Street, Lompoc, Ca.
