Kathleen Sue Phillips, born October 28, 1955, to Claude and Theresa Phillips in Hepner, Oregon, is now at peace after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Kathy graduated from Lompoc High School in 1973.

A resident of Lompoc for 53 years, Kathy worked for the Lompoc Hospital District for 35 years, where she ultimately ended her career in the Radiology Department, forging many life-long friendships.

Her greatest joy in life was her only child – Sean Phillips.  She was not only his mother but also his best friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her son Sean, sister Lorie Bragg, nephews Chris and Jeff Bragg, grandnephew Christopher and grandniece Samantha Bragg, her wonderful dog Princess Poot and beloved cat of many years Whiskers.

A memorial service will be held at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary on Thursday, June 6, 2019, at 5 pm.  An Aloha reception will follow in the home.
