IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Kenneth "Ken"
Londeaux
August 5, 1947 – September 9, 2022
Dr. Kenneth "Ken" Logan Londeaux
August 5, 1947 – September 9, 2022
Kenneth "Ken" Londeaux, (formerly Londot), was born in Long Beach, California on August 5, 1947, and entered eternal life peacefully at the age of 75, with family by his side, on September 9, 2022, following an extended illness. Ken was the beloved son of Geraldine "Jerri" Lane (Londot) who preceded him in death.
Ken was unwaveringly devoted to his family, his ministry, and most importantly to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. As a clinical psychologist for over 48 years, Dr. Londeaux, left a great legacy by healing hundreds of injured lives struggling with mental health-related issues. The locations of his private practices were in Diamond Bar, Lompoc, and Beaumont, California. Ken was also an adjunct professor at Fuller Theological Seminary and Azusa Pacific University, where he taught graduate students advancing into the doctoral programs concerning psychological application for the Christian population. In addition, Ken also lectured in various locations, including, but not limited to, the Leadership Institute through which he lectured for church leaders, pastors, and various organizations. Ken specialized in developmental trauma and applying psychodynamic approaches for internal healing, which he referred to as healing the 'inner family.'
Outside of his counseling ministry, Ken was also known for his gifts in music, most notably with the piano. At four-and-a-half years old, Ken taught himself to play the organ and developed a gift in arranging and composing piano medleys as he matured. Ken often used the leading of the Holy Spirit when playing music in various church settings, which led him to an opportunity to become a concert pianist. However, Ken felt impressed by the Lord to help people who are hurting and made the decision to move in the direction of becoming a psychologist. While Ken continued to bring his musical talents to church members, family, and friends with his beautiful piano arrangements, he pursued his calling in helping people as a psychologist.
As a person, Ken was known as a Renaissance man, creating and building many projects around the house, writing psychological papers, rebuilding cars, and doing carpentry and electric work without even needing to read a manual on the how-tos of things. His wit, sharp intellect, and humor often brought laughter to our many family Christmas gatherings and other social events. Ken had many talents beyond what can be listed, but always led with his heart. A mentor to many, Ken often used his calling beyond his professional scope, blessing many family and friends who sought his pearls of wisdom. Ken offered spiritual guidance, often leading many people to the Lord in and out of his private practice. He was very compassionate and a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.
Ken is survived by his faithful and loving wife of 53 years, Virginia "Ginny" Louise Londeaux, and their children, Bryan Matthew Londot with his wife Shelly and their son, Jacob Matthew Londot, and Christine Michelle Londot Forbes and her husband Jason. He is also survived by his sister Kathryn "Kathy" Sue Whetstone, and her husband Jack and their children, Darren Whetstone and his wife Kerrie, and Cheri Whetstone; his brother Gregory "Greg" Lee Londot, his wife Donna and their children, Nicole and Zachary Londot; his brother Victor "Vic" Harold Londot, his wife Patti and their children, Lauren DuPrez and her husband Derek, Kayleigh Londot, and Melissa Burke and her husband David "DJ."
Lastly, Ken also embraced as family, Christine Reed, her husband Kevin and her children, Sierra and Tyler Williams. Ken also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
While we are sorrowful for the absence of him on earth, we rejoice in the knowledge that he is with our Savior, Jesus, who welcomed him with open arms and said, "Well done, my good and faithful servant." (Matthew 25:21)
A memorial service is to be held at All People's Church in Yucaipa with family and friends. Interment will be scheduled at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery in the coming months.
