Former Santa Barbara resident of 39 years Kevin Gerard Buchanan, died July 4, 2016, at his home in Lompoc, California at the age of 60.

Kevin devoted 41 years of his time and energy as an honest and fair automotive mechanic in Santa Barbara and Goleta. But, what Kevin enjoyed most during his life was fishing on Lake Cachuma where he earned many trophies for the largest trout. His love for his dogs Ben and Kuna was one of the most special relationships, and he was also known for his many captivating stories and of course working on all things related to BMWs.

Kevin will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.

Services will be Thursday, July 14, at 2pm at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary in Lompoc.
