Lawrence Kanui Moiha, age 80 passed away March 30, 2021 of heart attack in Lompoc, CA.

Larry was born July 6, 1940 in Hana, Maui, Hawaii to John Kanui Moiha and Mary Moohila (Kaaihue) Moiha.  He was preceded in death by both parents, 6 brothers Joseph Haii, Mitchell Mikela, John Napahu, Albert Kanui, Henry Hanalei and Leonard Kauakea.  Three sisters Rachel Lahela, Juliana Kuliana and Ceciia Ka'iwa.

Larry grew up in Hana, Maui by the ocean, he so enjoyed the sea and mountains, he would always want to be out of doors.

Larry is survived by a brother Anthon,  and sister Pricilla, his wife, Joyce F. (O'Guin) Moiha, sons Lawrence James Kanui Moiha (wife Momi) and Justin Kama Moiha, five Grandchildren, Anella, Leilani, Puaena, Kanui and Iowane, and two Greatgrandchildren Aliena and Kameron.  And many cousins, nephews and nieces.

After moving to Lompoc in 1982 he was employed by City of Lompoc, Solid Waste Division.  He retired after 20 years with the City as Lead Sanitation Worker.  Then he had more time to work in his yards, he was a rather quiet and shy person though once getting to know him he would be more talkative.  He loved his family and was always ready to help others.
