Funeral services for Lee Etnyre Keiser, 77, of Lompoc will be 2 p.m. Monday, October 17, 2011 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Mesa Oaks Ward, 212 East Central Avenue, Lompoc. Private burial will be at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
Lee was a loving husband to his childhood friend and wife of fifty-six years Lanor Gail Keiser who he adoringly called 'Peach' passed away at his home on Thursday, October 13th 2011. He was known to his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as 'Papa.' He was a remarkably kind and loving man who will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
Lee was a dedicated father and husband whose greatest joys were achieved through his love and dedication to his family. He was born in 1934 in Sterling, Illinois. Lee served his country in the Air Force serving overseas in Taiwan, Libya, Greenland and Iceland. He spent his professional life working in aerospace for McDonald Douglas and Martin Marietta and later as an entrepreneur.
He is survived by his loving wife and best friend Lanor Keiser, his three children Hannah Kimberly Montano, Toni Lee Bledsoe and Lee Etnyre Keiser, Jr. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren Teri Lee, Ami Lee, Matthew, Chelsea Lee, Anthony, Jessie Lee, Maxwell and Nicholas and five great-grandchildren Cleo Lee, Olivia Lee, Lillian Lee, Jack and Lanor all with whom he was deeply connected and made sure to express his love for always.
Visitation hours will be one hour prior to service time at the church.
