Leonard Dale Davis was born to Franklin Rees and Stella Sievert Davis on June 2, 1935. Upon his homecoming, he was greeted by sister Frankie Isabel and Brother Donald Rees Davis.
Leonard went to school in Illinois and Indiana. After school, he worked until age 33 at which time he moved to Lompoc. He went to work at Johns Manville for the next three years. He worked hard not knowing that during that time he would meet the love of his life Janet Hartsfield. They married on October 2, 1971 and had 45 happy years together. 18 months after they married, they had their son Jonathan David Davis and then three years later, they were blessed with a girl, Stephanie Heather Davis.
Now after 45 years, they together enjoy three granddaughters Kayla Marie Frank, Kiana Jade Davis, Kyra Krystiana Moya, two grandsons Jared Dale Davis, Jonathan David Davis two great grandsons Jared Dale Davis, Matthew David Gregory Frank and one great granddaughter Rowen Lorraine Davis.
Services were held on Tuesday, December 21 at First Apostolic Church in Lompoc.
