Obituary
Services for Letha Mae Simpson, 85, of Lompoc, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery with Pastor Robert Robison of North Avenue Baptist Church officiating.
Letha was born August 10, 1922 in Jonesboro, Tennesse.
Mom passed peacefully and entered God's kingdom Wednesday on May 21, 2008 after a brief illness at Lompoc Hospital. Many thanks to the caring nurses who cared for her. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family.
Survivors include her son's, Marvin Simpson of Lompoc and Randall Simpson of South Carolina; daughter, Karen Foss also of South Carolina; brother, Robert "Buddy" Sliger; sisters, Roxie Lowe, Nora Ezell, Jimmy Greenwell all of Tenn.; five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sterling W. Simpson in 1995.
Visitation hours will be 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
