It is with heavy hearts and profound love that we announce the passing of Linda Barreras (Linda Leu), also known as “Grandma B”, at the age of 86, of Lompoc, CA. She passed away peacefully on the evening of May 16th, 2026, surrounded by the warmth and love of her family.

Born and raised in Lompoc to William and Addie Leu, Linda loved to knit and embroider in her spare time. She enjoyed her many years with horses, watching fast-pitch softball, and baseball. In her younger years, she enjoyed camping with her family at Jalama and Red Rock. She graduated from Lompoc High School and went on to have a fulfilling career as an X-ray Technician and retired as a Bookkeeper.

Beyond her career, her true legacy was her family. She was the matriarch of our home. She married the love of her life, Fidel Barreras, on April 5th, 1958.

Everyone who knew her will fondly remember her sharp-witted humor.

She loved spending time with her family. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy and will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, William and Addie Leu (Huyck). Her husband, Fidel Barreras, Children: Anthony D Barreras and Allen Richard Barreras. Her sister Loretta Jean Frazier, niece Sherri Charles, and sister-in-law Adela Tenbroeck.

She is survived by her Children, Andrew (Kimberly) Barreras and Teresa (Timothy) Howell. Daughter-in- law, Jane Barreras, brother-in-law Albert (Joyce) Barreraz, and her Grandchildren: Shay Barreras, Courtney Dosa, Alyssa Barreras, Brooke Barreras, Trenten Howell, and Austin Barreras. She leaves behind her nieces and nephews.
