1948 – 2009
Linda Ann Huey of Lompoc died Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at the age of 60.
Linda was born September 13, 1948 to Howard and Eva Arnold in San Luis Obispo. She was raised and educated in Arroyo Grande graduating from Arroyo Grande High School in 1966. She moved to Santa Barbara in 1967 and began a term of employment with UCSB that lasted 28 years. A resident of Lompoc since 1989 she most recently worked for the Lompoc School District as a librarian. She was active in the California School Employees Association.
Linda is survived by her husband of 37 years Alan Huey of Lompoc, her brother and sister-in-law Howard and Colleen Arnold of Arroyo Grande, her sister Sharlyn Pulice of Hacienda Heights, her niece Laura Arnold and nephew Brian Arnold, and sister in law and her husband Carol Pfeil and Ethan Rowe of Santa Barbara.
The cremation arrangements are under the direction of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
