IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Linda Ann
Mcnamee
July 21, 1958 – April 10, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we let you know of the passing of Linda Ann McNamee. She passed away at home in her sleep after a long battle with Dementia at the age of 66. She fought a long, hard battle against this terrible disease, but she knew there was no cure for it. She will be remembered for her smile, kindness to everyone, and her devotion to her family. Her family was the most important thing to her. Being a wife, mother, and grandmother brought her much joy in life, and she was great at it. Whether you were her husband, son, brother, sister, grandchild, cousin, uncle, aunt, or a friend, she loved you, and you could do no wrong in her eyes. But if you did, you knew because she would give you that look. We all knew that look at one time or another.
Linda was born in Lompoc, California, on July 21, 1958, to Evodio and Carolina Rodriguez. The oldest child, with her brother Tito and sister Kathy soon to follow. She graduated from Lompoc High School in 1976. She was married in 1978 to her husband David and had two children, Casey and Derrell. Three grandkids Cayden, Malani, and Gunnar.
Her life was cut short too early, but during her life, she touched many people and will be deeply missed by everyone. Although she didn't want to leave, her last wish was granted. She wanted to pass at home surrounded by her family. She is at peace now in heaven and with her dad. Who was waiting with open arms to greet her.
Vigil will be on Wednesday, April 23rd, from 4 to 7 at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. Mass is Thursday, April 24th, at 10 am at La Purisima Catholic Church. Followed by burial at Lompoc Cemetery.
Reception to follow at the American Legion.
