IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Linda May
Ross
June 19, 1947 – December 18, 2020
Linda May Ross passed away on December 18, 2020. This was her 44th wedding anniversary to Charles Crispin Ross. After a 3-year long illness, her heart gave out.
She was born on June 19, 1947, to Ralph Vernal Andersen and Nellie Mary Combs of Salt Lake City, Utah. She attended South High School. As a young girl she sang second soprano alto at the Mormon Tabernacle Youth Choir, which is something that she considered a great achievement. Her sole desire in life was to be a mother. After graduating from high school, she moved to Torrance, California.
She is survived by her pride and joy children, sons Russel Leroy Konold and Dewayne Roy Konold, his wife Sarah, son Titus, daughter Crystle Dawn Ross and her life partner Sean Kushner. She worked as an electronics technician testing cable TV amplifiers where she met her future husband Charles at Power Hybrids, Inc. She later became a quality assurance reliability tester running an electron microscope, die mount X-ray, bond pull tester, and particle impact tester. Art was her third love. She created beautiful ceramic pieces of art. She won an amateur award at the Anaheim Convention Center with a very creative jack o lantern pumpkin.
She and Charles moved to Lompoc 20 years ago after her retirement. Her heart was bigger than life; anyone who met her loved her. She cared for creatures big and small. Laughter was always her favorite medicine. She will be missed by those whose hearts she touched.
Services were held on December 23, 2020, at Lompoc Cemetery officiated by Chaplin Keith McClellan. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations made in her name to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
