Lindsey Marie Swallom was taken from us on February 22, 2015. At only 32 years old, she was a shining light to all who knew her. She was extremely loved by her friends and family. She was very compassionate and empathetic. Lindsey was born on November 18, 1982 in Waldorf, MD and moved to Lompoc in 1989. She graduated from Cabrillo High School in 2000 and was close to fulfilling an associate's degree from interior design. She loved her friends, her cats, music and white water rafting.
Lindsey leaves behind her parents, Keith and Gaylane Swallom of Lompoc, grandmother Maureen Stites of Folsom, CA; brother Karl Wike of Dublin, CA; brother Brandon Badeker (Rassany Suvans); niece Sarai Badeker, two nephews, Oskar and Gage Badeker of Garden Valley, CA.
A memorial service, celebrating her life, will be held on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary Chapel at 123 North A Street in Lompoc.
In honor of Lindsey, instead of flowers, donations can be made to the Santa Barbara County Humane Society.
