Obituary
Retired MSgt Lloyd D. Evans went home to be with our Lord on January 16, 2017 at the age of 83.
Lloyd was born in Jamaica, West Indies on September 25, 1933. He retired from the United States Air Force in 1972. Lloyd continued working at VAFB, where he retired at the age of 55.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Sheila Evans who passed in April of 2003 and his wife Joanne Cason Evans who passed in June 2008.
Lloyd is survived by his son Stephen Lloyd Wright, his daughters Leona Marie Cove (Bobby), Toni Marie Anderson (Joe), Helen Marie Hernandez (Billy) and Ann Marie Burgett (Alan), his sister Sybil Kennedy, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and his loving step family.
A memorial service will take place on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 1 pm at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary Chapel.
