Obituary
Lois H. Redding of Lompoc died Monday, September 8, 2008 at the age of 79.
Lois was born October 23, 1928 to Roy and Wilhemina Upton in Bakersfield, California. She was an instructor and administrator at Lyles College of Beauty in Hanford and Bakersfield for many years. A resident of Lompoc since 1992, she enjoyed gardening and arranging flowers.
Lois is survived by her husband of 38 yeas Carl Redding of Lompoc, daughters, Fran Doyel of Hanford and Nedy Bennett of Battle Creek, Michigan, her son Mace Carter of Bakersfield, 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and a sister, Shirley Cesare of Santa Maria.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation will be followed by interment in the Bakersfield V.A. National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
