Lorena (Trudy) Trudeau, long time Lompoc resident, dies at 91.
Born Hattie Lorena Cahan on July 8th, 1919 in Kankakee Ill, Trudy arrived in Lompoc in the summer of 1958 with her Air Force husband and five children. She worked at the old Moore's department store for many years; retiring to work as a companion for invalided people and charitable organizations such as Viva.
She is preceded in death by her husband Bernard, and one of her children, Dianne Trudeau Martin. She is survived by two sons, David and Tom Trudeau, two daughters, Patty Trudeau Nawrocki and Debbie Maples, nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She is very much loved and will be sorely missed.
A time of remembrance and visitation is scheduled at the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary for Sunday, March 6, 2011 from 5 to 8pm, with the Rosary prayers beginning at 7pm. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, March 7, 2011 at 10am at La Purisima Catholic Church in Lompoc with internment to follow at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
