Lorene Velma Simpson passed away June 24, 2018 at Lompoc Valley Medical Hospital.  She was born August 25, 1926 in Visalia, California to Donnie and Etta Cobbs.  She married Marvin Simpson July 4, 1942.

Lorene belonged to the Lompoc Rebekah Lodge and she was a bookkeeper for Moore's Department Store.  She was a member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene.

Lorene is survived by her daughter Patricia Frieson (Larry), son Richard Simpson, seven grandchildren, eight great-great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Marvin Simpson.

Graveside services will be held at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 9:00 am.
