Loretta Davenport, aged 87 years, was born July 8, 1931 to Lester and Ruby Wilson in her Grandma's attic in Hollis, Arkansas. She moved from Arkansas to Fresno, California in her junior year of high school. Her son Mitchell was born in 1950. She moved to Santa Maria with her son and there met Harvey Davenport.  They married on Dec. 7, 1963 in the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas and added Harvey's children Erik and Karen to the family.  Loretta enjoyed golf, playing card with her friends, traveling and spoiling her grandchildren.  She had a big heart and enjoyed caring for her family.

She was preceded in death by her son Mitchell, her parents, her sister Lurlene and after 39 years of marriage, her husband Harvey.  She is survived by children Erik (Marilyn) and Karen (Charlie), granddaughter Kelly, grandchildren Melissa and Dylan, and 6 great grandchildren.  At her request, there will be no service.
