Our sweet fun-loving mother, Lorraine "Rainey" Ploch, passed away at her home unexpectedly on January 27th.  She was 82 years old.

Lorraine was born and raised in Lompoc, California by her father and mother, Ken and Mary Fairbanks with her one brother, Ron.  Lorraine married her High School sweetheart, Walter "Boots" Ploch.  She worked for the Lompoc High School before they started a family of their own. The family enjoyed many camping trips to Refugio Beach and Pinecrest Lake and made many wonderful memories. Lorraine and Boots also enjoyed numerous travels together with friends and family.

Our mom loved watching all SPORTS! Her favorites were football,  tennis, basketball, and Little League.

Lorraine is survived by her three children, Shelley Mcminn, and grandsons Mitchell and Casey Mcminn, Stacey Cleckley and her husband Jim Cleckley, and Steven Ploch and his wife Yvonne Ploch.  She will be greatly missed but we will cherish her fun loving spirit in our hearts.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
