Louise Annette Schneitter, aged 78, passed away on October 20, 2024, in Lompoc, CA. Born on February 7, 1946, Louise was known for her friendly and outgoing personality, her fierce independence, and her love for travel and conversation.
Louise's life was enriched by her deep love for her family. She is survived by her son, Thomas Schneitter and his wife Hadia of Oakland, CA; her daughter, Leigh Annette Hunter and her husband Scott of Santa Maria, CA; and grandsons, Alec and Ethan Hunter. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Lester Lee Schneitter; her sister, Linda Scheridan; and her parents, Wilma and Louis Francis Swisher.
Educated at Allan Hancock College, Louise was a lifelong learner and an engaged community member. She was an avid shopper, a dedicated volunteer at both the Pacific Conservatory of the Performing Arts (PCPA) and Marian Hospital, and a devoted animal lover, often seen surrounded by pets who adored her as much as she adored them.
In keeping with her lifelong commitment to community service, in lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to PCPA or the Santa Barbara Humane.
