Lucas Allen Scott Donelson, two years of age, unexpectedly passed away Friday, April 12, 2024, from RSV, surrounded by his mother and grandmothers at Santa Barbara Cottage Children's Hospital. Lucas was born at Santa Maria Marian Regional Medical Center to Kayla Ann and Joseph Scott Donelson on July 4, 2021.

Lucas was a kind, loving, energetic, sweet little boy always brightened the room like a ray of sunshine. He could make anyone smile, with a contagious laugh. Lucas loved all things about the outdoors. He loved going to parks, taking family walks, bike rides. He also enjoyed climbing trees, running through flowers and exploring. He gave the best hugs and loved opening the door for his mama.

Lucas leaves behind his Mommy Kayla Ann and Daddy Joseph Scott Donelson and hero big Sissy Lyla Jean Marie Donelson, Ya-Ya Christy and best buddy/Auntie December Adkins, Uncle Cole and Alexa Younger, Auntie Bailey Moskowitz, grandfather Jay and Amy Younger, Grandma Brittany and Uncle Paul and Uncle Angelo and Uncle David Donelson, Nana Jennifer and Mike Davis, Auntie Ashley and Joseph and cousins Gasca, great grandparents Fred and Elizabeth Adkins, Robert and Carole Ruppel, great-great grandfather Ramon Navarro, as well as numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins.

The Celebration of Life will be Saturday 5-11-2024 at RiverPark (American Legion section), 246 Sweeney Road Lompoc, CA 93436 from11 am - 3pm. Pot Luck Style.  We are making BBQ Chicken, Hot Dogs and Hamburgers.  Please bring a dish to share. Come and support Lucas'  family through this tragic loss. Wear yellow in his honor, ready to share a memory with Lucas, bring pictures please (we will be making a scrapbook)  honoring this sweet baby boy taken too soon to God's Kingdom.
