Obituary
Luciano Garcia Terrones passed away August 11, 2012 from a life-long lingering illness.
Luciano, a native of Lompoc, was born February 6, 1965, and is the youngest of 16 children. He spent his early childhood active in karate and little league football and was proud of his accomplishments as a CIF champion wrestler for Lompoc High School.
As an adult, he loved to cook and this passion for food led him to become a cook at several Lompoc restaurants. In his spare time, he loved to watch movies including Godzilla and any movie with Bruce Lee. While these things were a big part of who he was, the moments he enjoyed most were those spent with his family, and most importantly his three children.
His children will always keep him in their thoughts and although they will miss him, they understand that their father will always look over them. His children, family, and anyone who ever came across him as an easy-going happy individual who was always smiling and laughing will always remember Luciano.
Luciano is survived by his daughters, Vanessa Rodriguez and Melissa Terrones, and his son, Luciano Garcia Terrones II; grandchildren Amery A. Rodriguez, Haley A. Rose, Mason D. Rose, Isabella A. Terrones, and Iunitus G. Gonzales; sisters Augustina Rains, Antonia Mondragon, Janie Hardeman, Judy Hernandez, and Nancy Razo; brothers Porfirio Terrones, Jr., Manuel Terrones, Carlos Terrones, Fernando Terrones, Gabriel Terrones, Fidel Terrones, and Jose Terrones; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Porfiro S. Terrones Sr. and Carmen G. Terrones; brothers Richard and Bernardino Terrones; sister Rosemary Razo; niece Gina Villalobos; and great-nephew Michael "Mikey" Terrones.
Vigil services will be held at 6pm Sunday, August 19, 2012 at the chapel of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. A funeral mass will be celebrated 10am Monday at Queen of Angels Catholic Church with Rev. Lawrence Santos presiding. Burial will follow at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation hours will be from 4 to 8pm Sunday at the mortuary.
