We are deeply saddened to share the passing of our beloved Luisa, also known as “Mama Luisa” at the age of eighty-nine. She passed away peacefully on the morning of May 19th, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. Born of humble beginnings in Jalisco Mexico, Luisa was a devoted wife, mother, a skilled cook, and a woman of deep faith who served her community and church for over thirty years alongside her husband. Luisa is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 64 years, Juan; her children, Sergio, Martha, Ricardo, Daniel, Jose, Armando, Victor who was called home to The Lord in 1988, Norma, Juan Luis, and Gabriel, as well numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Luisa created a lifetime of beautiful memories that will forever be in the hearts of her family and friends.

The family will receive friends at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary, 123 N A St, Lompoc, CA 93436, Tuesday, June 2nd, 2026, from 4:00 – 7:00 pm.

Memorial services will be at 10am on Wednesday, June 3rd, 2026, at Queen of Angels Church, 3495 Rucker Rd, Lompoc, CA 93436. Buriel services to follow immediately after the mass at Calvary Cemetery, 199 N Hope Ave, Santa Barbara, CA 93110.
