Lula Jane Schriver, 93, of Lompoc California, passed away on March 22, 2023, in Solvang CA.

Lula Jane was predeceased by her husband, Lawrence Alphonse Schriver, parents, Grover Cleveland Hitt and Lulu Gertrude Tamplin Hitt, siblings, Samuel, Tommy, Richard, and Mary Margaret. She is survived by her two children Terry Schriver and Lynne Thomas, her six grandchildren Christina, Chad, Jillian, Cody, Zach, and Jacob and great grandchildren Marlee and Kennedy Grace, numerous nephews and nieces and her beloved caregivers Julie, Anyssa, Nora, and Maribel.

Lula Jane, known by many as Mama Lou, was born in Prescott, Arkansas on January 24, 1930 and attended North Little Rock High School and graduated with honors. She traveled the world with her husband of 62 years, Larry, living in the mountains of Santiago Chile and various places within the US before settling in Lompoc CA in 1957. Lula was a homemaker and volunteered at the La Purisima Church and school. She had a passion for gardening, sewing, and loved to cook and entertain.

Graveside services will be April 5, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Lompoc Cemetery.
