IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lydia Victoria
Gonzales
August 5, 1954 – September 16, 2021
Lydia was born in Santa Monica, California on August 5, 1954, to the late Jesus "Jake" Lopez and Josephine Lopez. On September 16, 2021, God brought home one of his angels.
Lydia lived a life of love, peace, kindness, compassion, and free spirited. She was a friend, as close to family to all that she met. She touched so many lives in her own special way, this was just the kind of person Lydia was.
Lydia is survived by her mother Josephine, her brothers John (Eva) Lopez and Ernie (Terri) Lopez, sisters Erlinda Lopez and Virginia Lopez, her children Michael Lopez, Ryan Gonzales and Dayna Gonzalez. Lydia leaves 12 grandchildren and three great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
A special thank you to the team at Lompoc Valley Medical Center, Lompoc Skilled and Rehabilitation Center, Starbuck-Lind Mortuary and Lompoc Foursquare Church for all their care, and generosity they gave. To all who helped with donations and the fundraiser, a special thank you!
A private celebration of life will be held for the family during this time. The family sends prayers and blessings to everyone who knew and met Lydia.
Exodus 20:21 "Honor your father and mother. Then you will live a long, full life in the land the Lord your God is giving you."
To my daughter, our mom, sister, aunt and friend…. Until we meet again! We love you!
