Lydia B. Paz Piña of Lompoc gained her angel wings on April 18, 2018 at the age of 69.  She was born February 11, 1949 in Santa Barbara, California to George Paz and Maria Lydia Aguirre.  She attended and graduated from Santa Barbara High School.  Lydia was a member of La Purisima Catholic Church.

Lydia was a very strong woman, she was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt. She adored her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them.

Lydia is survived by her husband Paul Piña, her children Renee Murillo, Aureliano Murillo, and Lydia Murillo from Santa Barbara, Monica Piña, and Paul Piña Jr., both from Lompoc, siblings Nellie Paz, Frank Paz, Louis Paz and Jeanette Paz, 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings George Paz, Georgette Paz, Cochita (Connie) Ybarra and Jose Paz.

There will be a visitation at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary Friday, May 4, 2018 from 8:30 to 9:30 am with a funeral mass at 10 am at La Purisima Catholic Church.
