Lynda Rose Tucker, a long-time resident of Lompoc, California passed away October 12, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on November 14, 1947 in Santa Barbara, California to Arthur and Jessie Covarrubias.

Lynda was a very loving, caring, supportive and giving individual, always willing to be there for others. She loved to dance, and spend a lot of time refurbishing furniture and interior decorating.

Lynda is survived by her husband of 27 years, Michael Tucker, her daughter Annette Hernandez (Aaron), grandsons Rafael Cisneros, Jr, Robert (Courtney) Cisneros, Michael Ortiz, great-grandson Jesse Cisneros, daughter-in-law, Anne Ortiz, five brothers, one sister and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Arthur in 1990, her mother Jessie in 2013 and her son Benjamin Ortiz in 2015.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at 10 am at Lompoc Foursquare Church. A reception will be immediately following the service at the new Event Mission Valley
(EMV) 138 North B Street, Lompoc.
