Obituary
Lynn J. Lindley of Lompoc died Monday, October 28, 2013 at the age of 71.
Lynn was born October 12, 1942, in Vallejo, California, to Lester and Beatrice Lindley. He served his country as a corpsman in the U. S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He graduated from the San Francisco College of Mortuary Science and was employed as a funeral director in Mountain View, California. A resident of Lompoc since 1966, he was the co-owner of the Lompoc Funeral Home. He has been employed as a pathology assistant at Cottage Hospital for the last 10 years. Lynn was a former member of the Lions Club of Lompoc and actively volunteered at the Lompoc Police Department.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Marylyn, of Lompoc; his daughter Heather Lindley-Williams and husband Anthony of Lompoc; daughter Cheryl Hiatt of Fresno, his brother Lee Lindley and sister Carol Wilde, both of San Jose; grandchildren, Cooper Terrones, Andrew Soto, David Perez, Jr., and Victoria Marrero. He was preceded by his parents, his brother Lester, and his grandson Mikey Terrones.
At his request, no services will be held. Cremation will be followed by inurnment at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
