Maggie Lee Reed, 90, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother of Lompoc, California, died Saturday, May 21, 2011.

Maggie was one of three daughters born to Thomas Duncan and Rebecca Duncan. She was born on July 13, 1920, in South Carolina. Maggie married John D. Reed on November 11, 1940. She enjoyed cooking, family gatherings, listening to "old school" music, and dressing up in her finest clothes and jewelry.

She is survived by her beloved husband, John D. Reed; three daughters, Doris (George) Jackson, Robbie (Bobby) Bulls, and Jackie (Joel) Grant; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister.

There will be no service held in Lompoc. Burial arrangements were made by Crawford Funeral Home in Kershaw, South Carolina. Transportation arrangements were made by Starbuck - Lind Mortuary in Lompoc, California.
