Magnola "Maggie" Bohard, 85 of Lompoc died Sunday July 26, 2015 at Lompoc Hospital after suffering a stroke. Her daughter Sharon and granddaughter Debra were at her bedside when she passed

Maggie was born February 27, 1930 to Walter and Arizona (Williams) Sharp in Morris, Oklahoma. At the age of 23 she married her love Billy Jack Bohard, May 2, 1953 on Jack's 27th birthday. They made their home in Morris on Watson Ranch and had two children. In June 1957 they moved the family to California. Throughout her lifetime she worked at various jobs, chicken farms, cattle and horse ranches, house keeper, care giver, truck driver and homemaker. After Jack's passing in 2008 she moved in with her daughter and son-in-law.

Her greatest love were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed going to team pennings, playing dominos and rummy cube with family and watching her great grandchildren with their animals and sports. Also playing Bingo at the rehab center. For pass time she enjoyed working on her word search books, knitting and puzzles.

Maggie is survived by her sister Modene Jackson of Morris; daughter Sharon (Buck) Barker; son Billy Jack Bohard, Jr; four grandchildren Mike (Debra) Stamper; John Stamper and girlfriend Ashley Cromp, Kittie (Jeremy) Bain and Billy Jack Bohard III. She is also survived by six great grandchildren Shianne, Chance, Cody and Luke Stamper, Colton Tuckey and Blake Bain, with numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 54 years and her brother.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday August 1, 2015 at 2 pm in the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary Chapel, 123 North A Street Lompoc, CA 93436
