Juan Manuel Lopez of Lompoc died Saturday, November 3, 2007, at the age of 46.

Manuel was born January 16, 1961, in Pinicuaro, Guanajuato, Mexico to Damasio and Rosalina Lopez. He came to Lompoc in 1982 and has worked as a farm laborer for the last 25 years.

He is survived by his wife, Eloisa Lopez of Lompoc; sons, Jose, Ivan, and Oscar Lopez of Lompoc; daughter, Veronica Lopez of Lompoc; sister, Margarita Ruiz of Lompoc; brothers Mauricio Lopez of Phoenix, Arizona, Jose Lopes of Lompoc, Seferino Lopez of Idaho, Antonio Lopez of Lompoc, Rafael Lopez of Indiana, and Damasio Lopez of Idaho.

The visitation will be on Monday, November 5, 2007 from 4 to 8 pm with an evening vigil service at 5 pm in the chapel of the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. Father John Fitzgerald will celebrate the mass of Christian burial on Tuesday, November 6, 2007, at the Queen of Angels Catholic Church, followed by interment in the Lompoc Cemetery.
