Margaret "Peggy" Alfonso of Lompoc died Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at the age of 66.

Peggy was born November 1, 1948 to Nicholas and Margaret Alfonso in Fall River, Massachusetts. A resident of Lompoc since 1987, she was a client of Vocational Training Center in Santa Maria, and resided at Options since 2000. She loved music, listening to records, camping, playing computer games, looking at family photo albums and looked forward to the gifts and extra attention she received every year on her birthday.

Peggy was preceded in death by her mother and step-father Margaret Sloan Quintel and Jerry Sloan. She is survived by her sisters Barbara Kircher of Bullhead City, Arizona and Maureen (Rick) Quintel of Lompoc, and her brothers William (Lana) Alfonso of Nipomo and Thomas Alfonso of Jamestown, Ohio.

There will be a graveside funeral service on Saturday, December 13, 2014, at 10:30 am in the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
