Margaret Ann Aubert of Lompoc passed away at her home on Tuesday, May 29, 2012, at the age of 79.
Margaret was born September 1, 1932, in New Roads, Louisiana. She married Frank C. Aubert who was assigned to Vandenberg Air Force Base in 1964.
A lifelong homemaker, Margaret was an was active member of the Lompoc community. She was a member of La Purisima Catholic Church, the Catholic Daughters and the Quilting Club. In addition to needlework she enjoyed ceramics, creating many things that were donated to local fundraisers.
She is survived by her husband, her son Frank D. Aubert of Lompoc, her son Carl David Aubert and his wife Ginger of Laurel Bloomery, Tennessee, one granddaughter Sheril Yarber of Kingsport, Tennessee and her sister Lucille Montegut of New Orleans, Louisiana.
The visitation will be on Thursday, June 7, from 4-7pm with the recitation of the rosary at 7pm in the chapel of the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. The mass of Christian burial will be on Friday, June 8, at 10am at La Purisima Catholic Church followed by burial in the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
