Throughout her life, she cherished her adventures with her best friend Jeanne Plo and cousin Mary Terrill, Ruth and Arthur Shiffar and their daughters Genevieve and Margaret Mary.

In partnership with her brother, Fred J. Hayes, and sister Helen (Hayes) Marzorini, Margaret built a successful business leasing their family ranch lnd to vintners for the cultivation of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes in the Sta. Rita Hills wine region. This venture added another chapter to her rich and fulfilling life.

Margaret is survived by her loving daughters, Liz Foster-Anderson (Randy), Theresa Foster, and Frances Foster; her cherished grandchildren, Christopher Anderson, Jessica Anderson, Tessa Bergstrom, and Jake Mayers; and her two precious great-grandchildren, Fowler Bergstrom and Maris Bergstrom.
