It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Margaret Alice Hunt on February 5, 2025, at the age of 88. She lived in Lompoc, California most of her adult life but resided with her niece Lynnette Bass and her Son in Law Paul Filler for the past 8 years. Although Margaret is gone, she will live in our hearts forever, she was a Christian woman who believed in prayer. Margaret was known for her strongwill, her determination, and love and support for her family and community. She was a master teacher both in her classroom and in life.

Margaret is survived by her children; Jennette Coolidge, Gregory Hunt and adopted children, who are her niece Lynnette Bass, and nephew Eric Randolph. Grandchildren; Mariah Smith, Beth Pierce, and Don Hunt; her brother Orbie Randolph and sister Sarah Catherine Brooks. She is also survived by many loving, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Margaret was preceded in death by her spouse Bill Hunt; her parents Archie and Ruby Randolph; brother Lawrence Ray Randolph and sister Joyce D. Cloud.

A viewing will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary Chapel, from 10 am to 12 pm, with a funeral service starting at 12 pm, reception to follow from 1 pm – 3 pm. Private interment at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
