It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Maria Elena-Dolores Sanchez on November 1, 2024, at the age of 62. Maria was born on July 25, 1962, in Santa Maria, CA and later moved to Lompoc, CA. She was a dedicated and loving partner to Lenard Arellanes and a devoted mother to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Maria worked as housekeeper in Lompoc for over a decade. Her greatest calling was being a homemaker.

She found joy in taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In her free time, Maria enjoyed working on various craft projects. She faithfully attended church services, participated in a Bible study, and volunteered her time in the upkeep of the church.

Preceded in joining the Lord: Mother, Marcilia Moreno; sons William Salinas and Paige Arellanes.

Survived by: sons Anthony (Cynthia) Salinas, Paul (Jeanette) Gaitan, and David (Laura) Gaitan; daughters Genevieve Salinas and Amber Gaitan. She is also survived by many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at Lompoc Valley Baptist Church in Lompoc, CA on Friday, November 22nd at 10:00AM.
