Obituary
Vigil services for Maria De Los Angeles Nuno, 77, of Lompoc, will be 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at the chapel of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. A funeral mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday at Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
Maria was born August 3, 1932 in Jalisco, Mexico to Jose and Bonifacia Rocha Nuno. She moved to Lompoc in 1969 from Mexico and was a lifelong homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family.
She died Friday July 16, 2010 at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara.
Survivors include her daughter, Maria Alvarez; brothers, Cartlos Nuno Rocha
and Jose Nuno Rocha; granddaughter, Jeanette Alvarez; and grandson, Oscar Alvarez, Jr.
Visitation hours will be 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.
