Maria Rosa Mendez De Morales of Lompoc died Tuesday, April 28, 2015, at the age of 75.
Maria Rosa was born May 7, 1939, in Zamora, Michoacan, Mexico to Maurilio and Saria Mendez. A lifelong homemaker, she has been a resident of Lompoc since 2005. She was a member of Queen of Angels Catholic Church
Maria Rosa is survived by her husband Catarino Morales of Lompoc and numerous nieces and nephews including Robert, Martha, Ignacio and Guillermo.
The visitation will be Thursday, April 30, from 4-7pm in the chapel of the Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. The recitation of the Rosary will be at 6pm. Father Lawrence Santos will celebrate the Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, May 1, at 10am at Queen of Angels Catholic Church. Cremation will be followed by inurnment in the Lompoc Cemetery on Monday, May 4, at 3pm.
