MARIA G. NUNO
Vigil services for Maria G. Nuno, 48, of Lompoc, will be 7 p.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at the chapel of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. A funeral mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday at La Purisima Catholic Church with Rev. Tom Cook officiating. Burial will follow at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
Maria was born January 24, 1960 in Jalisco, Mexico to Filiberto and Juventina Garcia.
Mom loved life and everything in it. She lived life to the fullest. She always put everyone else before herself. She is our inspiration, our mentor, our best friend, our hero, our strength, and our will to carry on. She will truly be missed and always remembered. We love you mom.
Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Sergio Nuno of Lompoc; daughter Annabel Nuno of Santa Barbara; son, Antonio Nuno of Lompoc; sisters, Refujio Rodriguez of Los Angeles, Julia Rodriguez of Mexicali, Mexico, and Rosario Rodriguez of Jalisco, Mexico; brothers, Nicolas Garcia and Gilberto Garcia, both of Los Angeles; and her companion Mamas
Visitation hours will be 4 to 8 p.m. at the mortuary.
