Marie Antoinette Johnston passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on September 2, 2025, at the age of 87.

Antoinette was born on November 11, 1937, in Waltham, Massachusetts to Michael and Marie Buono. She graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1956. She met the love of her life, Frank J. Johnston, Jr., when she was visiting her sister and her family. They were married on September 30, 1961.

She worked for General Dynamics in the 60s. During the 80s and 2000s she worked for her niece, Annette Sato, as her Legal Secretary.

She is survived by her son Frank III (Christina) Johnston of La Verne, California, her daughter Tina (Chris) Davis of Lompoc, her grandchildren, Felicia (Chris) Ruiz, Jake (Jacquelyn) Johnston, Noah, Scott, and Levi Davis; and great-grandchildren, Zerik and Ziggy Ruiz, Violet and Isabella Johnston. She is preceded by her husband Frank and her parents.

Antoinette loved walking with her friends, reading stories to her grandchildren, listening to music, cooking the best Italian food, and spending time with her family.

A memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 20th, at 10:00 a.m. at North Avenue Baptist Church, 1523 West North Avenue, Lompoc.  A graveside service will follow at the Lompoc Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life at 12:00 p.m. at North Avenue Baptist Church.
