Marissa Adriana Keith passed away on August 20, 2017, at the age of 20.
She fought a lengthy battle with such strength and determination to conquer Epilepsy, dreaming to live a normal life and the cure for an illness that is so misunderstood to be found.
Marissa attended Los Berros Elementary, La Purisima Catholic School and graduated from Cabrillo High School in 2014.
She had a loving heart and such compassion for others, always there when someone needed a friend. She had a special place in her heart for children and loved interacting with them, and they loved her as well. Her beautiful smile lit up a room and her silly giggle was infectious. Her generous heart sincere.
Marissa adored her "little" brother Jacob, even though he was so much taller than her, always so proud of him and amazed by his wisdom. Their love and bond was like no other.
Our hearts are heavy, our lives forever changed, the memories remain with us always. Your struggle is over, your spirit free, now rest in peace our sweet angel in the loving arms of great grandma and grandpa.
Marissa is survived by her mother Kristi Keith, brother Jacob Keith, grandparents Mike and Debbie Caporale, aunt Donna Caffey and cousin Gloria Andersson. She is preceded in death by her great grandparents, Gilbert and Elizabeth Oliver.
Hug your children tightly, never take tomorrow for granted, treasure the moments and be a friend to someone who needs you.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 25 from 10-11 am at Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. Services will be held at Trinity of the Nazarene Church 500 E. North Avenue, Lompoc, California on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 12 noon. Private interment will be at Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
