Obituary
Services for Marguerite L. Caldwell, 92, of Lompoc, will be 1 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2011 at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
Marguerite was born March 28, 1919 in Paris, Texas to Thom and Mary Humphrey Lenoir.
She moved to Lompoc from Texas in 1936 and arrived by train. She enjoyed Lompoc and made it her home for many years. She was employed as a city clerk for the city of Lompoc for 22 years before her retirement. Earlier in her life, she liked to work with ceramics and garden.
She died Thursday, June 30, 2011 at Santa Maria Care Center in Santa Maria.
Her sons Charles Wiliams of Gainesville, Texas and Darryl Williams of Ketchikan, Alaska survive her. She also leaves behind several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are in the care of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary.
