Obituary
Martha Roberta Lake, 70, of Lompoc passed away on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara.
Martha was born on March 28, 1940 to Walter and Sarah Allen in Inglewood, California. Her family moved to Lompoc when she was 12 years old. She married Merril Lake on January 1, 1957, she had two children, Beverly and Carl. She very much enjoyed traveling. Her greatest joy was her family and extended family.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Merril M. Lake, daughter, Beverly (Don) Curten of Nipomo, son, Carl Lake of Lone Grove, Oklahoma and grandson Cory Curten. She was preceded by her parents and six siblings.
Private interment will take place at the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of Starbuck-Lind Mortuary. www.starbucklind.com
