Obituary
Marvin Melton Simpson of Lompoc passed away peacefully at Lompoc Valley Medical Center on January 26, 2015, at the age of 91.
Marvin was born in Delano, California to Vern and Bertha Simpson on August 26, 1923. He worked for PG&E for 38 years and was an active member of the Odd Fellows and Rebekah Lodges.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Lorene, his son Richard Simpson and daughter and son-in-law Patricia and Larry Frieson, sister Wanda Simpson, seven grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Pastor Duane Armstrong of the Trinity Church of the Nazarene will direct the graveside service on Friday, January 30, 2015, at 10am in the Lompoc Evergreen Cemetery.
