Mary "Midge" Blair of Lompoc died Saturday, June 18, 2016, at the age of 82.
Midge was born April 14, 1934, in Springfield, Massachusetts to George and Sadie Ingraham. Following graduation from Springfield Technology High School in 1952, she joined the United States Air Force. She was honorably discharged in 1954.
A lifelong homemaker, Midge enjoyed spending time at the Lompoc Elks Lodge #2274, was an active member of the Lompoc Republican Women's Club, the Lompoc Community Women's Club and was a past president of the Vandenberg Officer's Wives' Club. A piano player and painter, she enjoyed all forms of music and art.
Midge was preceded in death by her husband Forest Blair in 2002. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Kim and Max Rivera of Lompoc; son Stuart Blair of Twin Falls, Idaho; five grandchildren, Travis, Geoffrey, Hannah, Hayden, Halla; and her sister-in-law and husband, Diana and Jerry Senturia , Peacham, VT; and dear friends Debbie and Mick Evans, Lompoc, CA.
A celebration of her life will be held at the Lompoc Elks Lodge on Saturday, July 9, 2016 from 3-5 pm. Private interment will be in the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada.
